We produce custom designs based on customers' original artwork, including traditional round badges, custom-shaped pins, logo pins, name badges, and decorative metal emblems.
Our Shenzhen factory offers various manufacturing processes, including metal stamping, zinc alloy die casting, soft enamel, hard enamel, die-struck metal finishes, UV printing, polishing, and electroplating. Depending on the design, we can create raised metal outlines, recessed color areas, textured backgrounds, and detailed 2D or 3D relief. Popular plating options include gold, silver, nickel, black nickel, and antique-style finishes. Material and process selection depends on the artwork, size, and desired appearance.
Soft enamel offers recessed color areas with raised metal borders, creating a textured appearance. Hard enamel provides a smoother, polished surface, while die-struck designs emphasize the natural metal finish without enamel coloring. UV printing may be considered for detailed artwork, gradients, or variable information that is difficult to reproduce through traditional enamel processes. Our team can review the artwork and recommend an appropriate manufacturing method.
We offer different attachment options depending on the badge design and intended application, including butterfly clutches, rubber clutches, and other suitable fittings. Custom backing cards, individual polybags, and presentation packaging can also be arranged. For small pins, the readability of fine lettering, line thickness, and color separation should be reviewed carefully before production.

Answer: A one-time mold fee is generally required for a new custom metal pin design. The cost depends on the size, shape, and complexity of the artwork. Repeat orders using the same mold usually do not require an additional mold fee, provided no changes to the molded design are needed.
